Comic Book Art

For the last couple of weeks we have been working on our own comic books.  We also learnt about onomatopoeia (words that mimic the sound of the noise they make).  Here are the 'pop-art' creations we made using these types of words.

  1. Fabulous artwork room 9. It is very effective and funky! It looks like the artwork of Roy Lichtenstein. You should check it out.

  2. Thanks Mrs Calvert, we checked out his artwork out before we started to get some ideas. We worked really hard to make them look professional. Thanks for your comment, Room 9!

  4. Hi Miss Ginders, I really liked your classes paintings. They were very colourful and I almost thought that I was reading a comic book. I also liked the way they positioned it. That makes it very effective! How long did it take? ~Damien :D

    1. Hi Don. We did work on comic strips at the same time as creating this art. We will be publishing them into a 2014 Room 9 book (like we did when you were in Room 9). You could come and read them when it's finished if you like.
